True Colors Theatre’s production of Dot will be at the Southwest Arts Center from July 17-August 12, 2018.
Not familiar with the work? Here’s the quick summary: “Colman Domingo’s comedy Dot takes a light-hearted look at a tough topic. As matriarch Dotty (played by House of Payne actress Denise Burse) struggles to hold on to her memory, her children must fight to balance care for their mother and care for themselves. Aging parents, midlife crises, and off-balance family dynamics make for one unforgettable Christmas gathering.”
