Head to downtown Duluth for a chalk-tastic extravaganza on Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.
You’ll be dazzled by the work of professional chalk artists who will transform the pavement into mind-bending 3D illusions and stunning masterpieces.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work on a chalk mural with others, stroll the art walk in Parsons Alley, enjoy yummy food and drink, and shop with local vendors.
Festival hours:
Friday, May 2 — 6 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, May 3 — 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Downtown Duluth’s open container policy
Duluth has a liberal alcohol policy with an open container policy.
During Fridays-N-Duluth events, you can carry an alcoholic beverage with you, as long as it was purchased from licensed downtown merchant. So swing by a local restaurant and grab a cocktail when you arrive!
