Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in downtown Duluth, at the first annual Margarita + Taco Festival. It’s happening on — when else? — Sundy, May 5th, from noon to 7 p.m.
There will be 40 taco vendors and 12 bars with over 10 different flavored margaritas, right on site.
While this event is free to attend, if you want to drink, you’ll need to buy a $6 wristband. Your wristband is proof you are 21 or older, and it allows you full access to the bars on site (which accept both cash and credit).
For $40, you can get the wristband plus bottomless margaritas and a souvenir glass. You can buy in advance on Freshtix, which of course will add a $3.49 fee to your total.
Want to really upgrade your experience? For $50 (plus a $3.99 fee), you can attend a tequila tasting event in a climate-controlled tent. It includes unlimited tastings, a cooking demo from a local chef, a talk on the history of tequila making, and a mixologist who will teach you how to make cocktails. Advance purchase is through Freshtix.
The deluxe experience is $70 for both the tequila exhibition and the bottomless margaritas.
