Get moving with these FREE fitness events in East Point — including walking, yoga, and Pilates.
The East Point Walkaholics Walking Club hosts several group walks each week. Currently, the walks take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There is both a morning walk and an evening walk each of those days.
To participate, show up about 10-15 minutes before the walk start time.
The walkers meet at the recreation center in Jefferson Park, 1430 Norman Berry Drive.
Morning walks run from 9 to 10 a.m.
Evening walks run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The walking route follows the Model Mile of the new East Point PATH trail, which opened in the summer of 2020.

This summer, head to Brookdale Park in East Point for FREE yoga on Tuesdays on Thursdays, through September 18, 2021.
Classes start at 6 p.m.

Head to Brookdale Park for a Pilates workout this summer. Classes are on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 p.m. They are scheduled through September 18th.
