EcoFest takes place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Sandy Springs. There is no residency requirement for FREE document shredding.
HOWEVER, there is conflicting information out there as to whether or not advance registration is required — so to be on the safe side, you may want to register via the link below.

NOTE: This is a quarter-mile away from the Sandy Springs Recycling Center, not at the recycling center itself.
While the document shredding is FREE, you might consider making a donation, to benefit Keep North Fulton Beautiful, a nonprofit organization.

Clothing drive details
At the document shredding event, they will also be collecting clothing and shoes for American Kidney Services.
Please bring clothing in a tied bag labeled “AKS.”
Shoes should go in a closed box labeled “AKS Shoes.”
Your clothing donation helps individuals suffering from kidney-related illnesses pay expensive medical bills.
Shredding event guidelines
Shredding is limited to 10 boxes, or the equivalent in bags, per vehicle.
The weight limit per box is 40 lbs.
There is a monitor on the side of the shredding truck and you can watch your items being shredded.
You do NOT need to remove staples, paperclips, or binder clips.
