[exp] [/exp]If money’s a bit tight & you’ve got a teen daughter in need of a prom dress, you’ll want to check out this deal:
On Saturday, March 31, 2012, Enchanted Closet will have its 10th Annual Prom Dress Giveaway. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University.
In order to attend, you’ll need to register online at Enchanted Closet, be in financial need, have a student ID or most recent report card as proof of grade level, + live in one of 14 metro-Atlanta counties.
Though it’s a “giveaway,” it’s not free; there’s a $10 processing fee, which helps offset the cost of cleaning the dresses. But it’s a steal for what you get: Each eligible girl will get a dress, matching accessories, free or discounted hair and makeup services, and a corsage for prom while supplies last.
Want to help? If you have prom-appropriate dresses, shoes, purses, or other accessories on hand & no longer need them, you can donate them at several locations in metro-Atlanta. Check Enchanted Closet’s site for donation locations & hours, and remember to get a donation receipt when you drop off your items.

Can I bring any of my friends or do they also need to register?
