[exp] [/exp]We haven’t seen Farmer Sue since my girls were preschoolers; I may need to make the trip out to Farm Day for nostalgia’s sake:
On Sunday, March 24, 2013, Chattahoochee Nature Center will have a Farm Day event from noon-4:00 p.m., and there’ll be plenty to do:
- Noon-4:00 p.m.: Meet Live Farm Animals from The Art Barn at Morning Glory Farms. Farmer Sue will bring out her geese, goats, sheep, chicks and bunnies with a special appearance by the Art Barn’s famous chickens Vera Bradley and Zoe the Zebra Chicken. Brushing and touching is welcomed and encouraged.
- Noon-4:00 p.m.: Visit the Unity Garden and Alpaca Outpost
- Noon-4:00 p.m.: Take advantage of Farm Fresh Photo Ops
- 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.: Get creative with ArtBarn Farm Crafts
- 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.: Story Time with Miss Julia
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (ages 65+) & students (ages 13-18), & $6 for children ages 3-12; ages 2 & under are admitted free.
Chattahoochee Nature Center is located at 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell. 770-992-2055.
