It’s that time of year again — time to kick off the holiday season with the Georgia Festival of Trees. This eight-day event centers around a beautiful forest of dazzling, custom-decorated Christmas trees.
The festival also features live music and entertainment, a gingerbread house display and contest, loads of activities for kids, visits with Santa, boutique gift shops featuring local artisans, food kiosks, and more.
The 2023 Georgia Festival of Trees takes place at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta from November 18th to 26th.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Note that the festival is closed on Thanksgiving and the Wednesday before (Nov. 22 and 23).
When you get to the World Congress Center, you’ll be going to Building A, Hall A-3.
Admission & activity prices
Note that fees and taxes are added to these prices.
Although you purchase a ticket for a specific day, according to the website, you can change your ticket online using the confirmation number you receive in your confirmation email.
The pricing is a little complicated, so read carefully to be sure you get all the available discounts.
WALK UP PRICES: (there are discounts, don’t pay walk-up price!)
Adult admission — $21.79
Seniors (62+) – $16.04 — and FREE on Nov. 21
Children (ages 3-12) — $16.04
Children’s admission + activity wristband — $21.79
Children 2 and Under – FREE
If you buy a children’s activity wristband on site, you’ll pay $9.95.
Without a wristband, you can buy tickets for individual kid’s activities.
The price is $1 per ticket, and most activities require just one ticket.
The wristband includes access to:
- ornament making & crafts
- games: snowball toss, reindeer ring toss, bowling. giant Jenga, more
- bubble machines
- Elf Phone Booth
- letter writing at Santa’s Post Office
Photos with Santa have an additional fee.
You can skip the line and reserve a time with Santa online, after you book your ticket.
