[exp] [/exp]Though the weather caused FLUX Night to be postponed, a new date has been set: On Saturday, November 7, FLUX Night 2015: Dreams will take place in Old Fourth Ward.
The once a year, one night only event runs from 7:00 p.m.-midnight, and you never know what you’ll encounter during FLUX.
I couldn’t make it out in 2013 & it was on hiatus last year, but I’m going to try & head to O4W for FLUX. This year’s theme is Dreams, and as curator Nato Thompson describes it, “Flux Night 2015 is a site-specific art exhibition that takes as its source of inspiration, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream. For dreams, those visions when we sleep, the realm of desires, of hopes, of fears and new futures, are also the material of artists.”
You’ll find Flux Night 2015: Dreams’s site-specific visual & performing arts exhibitions on Auburn & Edgewood between Jackson & Howell.
