The BeltLine Walls Festival is concluding on Sunday, August 4, 2019 with a FREE community event that includes Family Paint Day, street theater, and artist talks.
Family Paint Day begins at 11 a.m., at Mason Fine Art, located at 415 Plasters Avenue in midtown Atlanta (zip code 30324). The mural will come to life behind Mason Fine Art, along the interim Northeast Trail. View Google Map.
This Family Paint Day is an interactive experience, featured Shambe Badila as lead artist. People of all ages are invited to join in the creation of this new BeltLine mural.
Family Paint Day is a component of the BeltLine Walls Festival, and typically coincides with either the mural festival or construction projects along the trails.
Other events will follow Family Paint Day:
- 11:00 a.m. — Family Paint Day Starts
- 1:30 p.m. — Soul Food Cypher (freestyle performances with audience participation)
- 2:30 p.m. — Serenbe Playhouse players perform selections from Hair, the Tony-winning rock musical
- 3:30 p.m. — Artist Talks (BeltLine muralists discuss their art)
