[exp] [/exp]On my list of places to be this weekend:
From February 2-4, 2018, look out for falling objects at the Yaarab Shrine Center in Atlanta, home to the 40th Annual Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival. For much of the festival, you’ll see random jugglers juggling random things. But there are organized events: At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, the juggling competition gets underway, plus there’ll be juggling games at noon on Saturday as well as workshops on both Saturday & Sunday.
At 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, the free Light Extravaganza will take place in the parking lot, followed by a Late-Night cabaret in The Yaarab Shrine Center at 9:00 p.m.—admission to the late-night cabaret is $10 (free for registered jugglers). And there’ll be unicycle polo in the parking lot on Saturday and/or Sunday.
FYI–Tickets to the Late-Night Cabaret will likely sell out, so stop by the registration table in the Yaarab Shrine Center to get yours as soon as you get to the festival.
Aside from the Late-Night Cabaret, it’s free to stop by & watch the events at the Yaarab Shrine Center. Festival hours are Friday from 5:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 p.m., & Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
The Yaarab Shrine is located at 400 Ponce De Leon Avenue NE, Atlanta.
