[exp] [/exp]On Friday, June 3, 2016, fans of The Powerpuff Girls fans will unite in Atlanta’s O4W.
As part of their ongoing mission to save the world before bedtime, Bubbles, Blossom, & Buttercup will join The Cartoon Network for a free Soar Into Summer screening of The Powerpuff Girls at the Old Fourth Ward Multipurpose Field (next to the skate park).
The festivities start at 7:00 p.m., and the free movie begins at 8:30 p.m. Picnics & blankets are welcome. If you crave a sweet treat while you’re there, you’re in luck: King of Pops will be on hand with their awesome popsicles (raspberry lime is my favorite).
Bonus: If you attend the The Powerpuff Girls screening and become an Atlanta BeltLine member using the special code from the event, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a designer Moschino bag.
The Old Fourth Ward Multipurpose Field is located next to the skate park off the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail (766 Willoughby Way NE, Atlanta).
A note about parking from King of Pops (borrowing this bit from the King of Pops Yoga in the Park post, as it still applies here): “If you guys keep parking on Willoughby Way and the rest of the neighborhood blocking driveways, hydrants and in reserved spots, the city will shut us down (rightfully so)! So please don’t spoil this for everyone. Walk, bike, take MARTA, or if you have to drive, arrive early, park a few blocks away, and walk to the park. There’s plenty of parking on Ralph McGill, Highland Ave, Austin and Lake Ave, just a short few blocks away from the park. Please be mindful.”
