It may be back-to-school time, but Avalon is hosting one last summer bash, with a luau theme! It happens this weekend, August 9th to 11th.
Throughout the weekend, stop by Concierge to pick up your stroll map, for a list of back-to-school deals and in-store happenings at participating retailers. You can also donate new school supplies there to receive a free swag item.
Special events include:
Friday, August 9th – Live music by The Classics band, plus face painting in the Plaza from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 10th – It wouldn’t be a luau without hula dancers! At 3:30 p.m., Mahealani’s Polynesian Entertainment will present a special opening performance in the Plaza and will then move throughout property.
Bar None will set up in the Plaza from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., offering non-alcoholic cocktails.
From 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. you can dance away the back-to-school blues with the Blanton Reed Band in the Plaza.
Sunday, August 11th – Come out from noon to 2 p.m. for Little Acorns crafts and activities for kids. Then, stick around to shop for last minute items along the Boulevard and enjoy live music by the Wesley Cook Trio from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
