Free food and school supplies at Chamblee’s Back-to-School Bash

The Chamblee Police Department is hosting its third annual Back To School Bash on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The FREE event will take place at Dresden Park, located at 2301 Dresden Drive.

Children accompanied by a parent or guardian can receive a brand new backpack stuffed with school supplies suitable for kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade. More than 650 backpacks are available for this giveaway.

The Back To School Bash will also feature end-of-summer fun, in the form of music, games, and food. Chamblee police officers will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers, to give summer break 2019 a proper farewell.
