The movie Harriet is based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, Harriet Tubman. It tells the extraordinary tale of her escape from slavery and courageous work lead others to freedom through the Underground Railroad.
The film stars Cynthia Erivo in the title role, as well as Leslie Odom, Jr., Joe Alwyn, and Janelle Monae.
In fact, Cynthia Erivo is nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress!
