The Taste of Soul Atlanta Festival is a FREE festival that takes place downtown, in the heart of America’s soul food capital. It is said to be the largest intown festival west of Peachtree Street.
This family festival celebrates soul food and southern cuisine. It features concerts, art, a kid zone, and plenty of food and drink.
While festival entry is free, certain events come with a charge.
The Soul in the City Concert requires tickets that you can buy online. This gives you access to the festival’s main stage and reserved seating.
You can also purchase all day passes for the Kid Zone. The website says they are “just a few bucks” but doesn’t give a price.
To participate in the street festival, just show up. You can bring lawn chairs and enjoy live music outdoors.
The outdoor festival entrance is located at 10 Northside Drive, Atlanta, GA 30314. It is right across from the Georgia Dome and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Festival hours: SAT & SUN | AUG 31st – SEPT 1st | 12PM – 9PM
Visit the Taste of Soul website.
