Want to honor those who have served, fought, died, or are missing in action in defense of freedom? Head to downtown Atlanta for the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
The Parade will start at 11:11 a.m. downtown Atlanta, on Peachtree Street south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Blvd. It will proceed south on Peachtree Street, then turn right on Baker Street towards Centennial Olympic Park, The World of Coca Cola, and Georgia Aquarium. It will continue on Baker Street and turn left onto Marietta Street. It will turn right onto Centennial Olympic Park Drive. The parade will end on Centennial Olympic Park Drive.
To skip the traffic, take MARTA downtown.
Whether you make it to the parade or not, remember to thank any servicemen and women you know (or even just pass in the street) for their courage and sacrifice.
