Thanks to a new promotion by Kellog’s, your morning cereal can earn you a FREE movie ticket to see Avatar: The Way of Water (or another Disney movie of your choice).
Here’s how to participate in the promotion and claim your freebie
♦ Buy Kellogg’s products — you’ll need to purchase a total of three qualifying items (see the list below) by March 31, 2023. It’s not just cereal on the product list! You can buy any combination of products, including three of the same thing. And you don’t need to buy them all at the same time (but that seems like it would be easiest and fastest).
♦ Capture your receipts — Take a photo of your receipt(s). According to the fine print, the entire receipt must be in the frame — including all 4 corners. For long receipts, take photos in section and upload them all together. Make sure everything is legible!
♦ Register online and upload — You can go online and sign up here to upload your receipt(s). If you have multiple receipts, you can upload them separately, within 30 days of making the purchase. You have until April 30, 2023 to finish your uploads.
♦ Redeem your reward — Once your application is approved, you’ll be emailed a promo code for a $13 Fandango Movie Ticket, which you can redeem via Fandango.com OR via the Fandango app. You can get a ticket for Avatar: The Way of Water — or any other Disney movie — at a participating Fandango theater (which is most of them).
Things to know
Avatar: The Way of Water is set for a release date of December 16, 2022.
You will have to pay the difference for any movie ticket over $13 — so if you want a true freebie, and you don’t qualify for a senior discount or student discount, you’ll have to go to an afternoon matinee. (Adult tickets can be as high as $16.50 at some of our metro ATL theaters).
You can claim up to three Fandango movie tickets through this promotion.
Once you receive the email with your promo code, this is how to redeem it for movie tickets:
- Go to Fandango.com or open the Fandango mobile app.
- Sign in to your Fandango account (or create one). There may also be an option for guest checkout.
- Select your preferred show time and location for Avatar or another Disney film
- At checkout, click on “Use Promo Code” and then enter your code and click “Apply”
- Finish the checkout process.
