Gone With the Wind will return to the big screen for three days only, in honor of the film’s 85th anniversary. If you’ve never seen this classic movie in the theater, as it was meant to be seen, this is your chance. It will be shown in its original format, with an intermission.
The special screenings are part of Fathom Events’ Big Screen Classics movie series.

The 1939 film was adapted from Margaret Mitchell’s classic novel. It stars Vivien Leigh as the unforgettable character of Scarlett O’Hara, and Clark Gable as the dashing scoundrel Rhett Butler. At the 12th annual Academy Awards ceremony, the film set a record for wins and nominations — winning eight categories, including Best Picture.

Where to see Gone With the Wind in metro Atlanta
Showtimes and prices will vary between theaters. But most theaters are having an afternoon showing plus an early evening showing — so it’s very family-friendly.
The afternoon matinees are around 1 p.m., and the evening showings are around 7 p.m.
