[exp] [/exp]Attention, food truck & live music fans: On August 27, 2016, make plans to spend the day at the KSU Sports+Entertainment Park for the The Great Southern Food Truck Rally.
From noon-9:00 p.m., you can sample the wares of dozens of Atlanta’s food trucks, including Mac the Cheese, Bollywood Zing, Boss Lady’s Grillers, Ibiza Bites, The Freakin Incan, Nana G’s Chicken & Waffles, The French Truck, & Happy Belly, to name a few. Plus, there’ll be live music & ample lawn games, including Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Ladder Ball, Foot Darts, Bocce, Wiffleball, Waterslide Kickball, Build-A-Truck, Car Racing, Cornhole, & more.
If you’re heading out for the music, here’s the lineup:
- 11:00 a.m.: Michael Magno
- 12:30 p.m.: Twin Birds
- 2:00 p.m.: Mansell
- 3:30 p.m.: Carly Burruss & Taylor Marie
- 5:00 p.m.: All the Locals
- 6:30 p.m.: KIDS
- 7:45 p.m.: Indianapolis Jones
Tickets to The Great Southern Food Truck Rally are regularly $10 for general admission & $50 for a VIP Georgia Brew ticket when you buy in advance (VIP tickets will be $55 at the door). FYI–You’ll need to be age 21+ to purchase a VIP ticket, which includes four beer tickets, souvenir cup, T-shirt, & early entry at 11:00 a.m. Kids age 8 & under will be admitted free with a paid adult. Food is not included in the price of admission–Sample sizes will be available for $2-$4 each, or you can opt for full-size portions.
