Household Hazardous Waste event for residents of Chamblee, Doraville, & Brookhaven on Saturday

Three cities at the top end of the perimeter are partnering to host a household hazardous materials recycling event. The waste collection event is open to residents of Chamblee, Brookhaven, and Doraville. 

It takes place on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at the Plaza Fiesta parking lot (4166 Buford Hwy., Atlanta GA 30345).
Hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

The event is FREE for those who live in the qualifying cities.

Only households may use this event.
No commercial, industrial, or business wastes will be accepted.

The following materials will be accepted at the event:

• Electronics–no large appliances or rear projection tv
• Paint
• Chemicals/Pesticides
• Styrofoam
• Plastic Film (must be clean and dry)
• Textiles/Clothing (useable and unusable accepted)
