For the fifth year, Ibotta is again offering its “Free Thanksgiving Dinner” program in an effort to feed millions of families this Thanksgiving.
The Thanksgiving FREE offer is available to NEW Ibotta users starting November 1, 2024. The offer runs through November 27th, while supplies last.
It’s a little bit of a complicated offer, but it’s worth it to get your Thanksgiving turkey and fixings for free. NOTE that this is a rebate offer — so you must be able to pay for your food upfront and wait for the refund.
In case you don’t know, Ibotta is a cash-back grocery shopping program — it is similar to Rakuten (formerly eBates) in some ways.
How to get 100% cash back on Thanksgiving dinner with Ibotta

Existing users will get to pick a $20, $25, $30 or $40 bonus through an in-app message from Oct. 25 to 31, 2024 that will be live for the month of November.
Thanks to the offer, qualifying Ibotta users will receive 100% cash back on five tasty Thanksgiving food staples at participating retailers. It’s a total savings of up to $27.45.
This year, users get to choose five items — one from each of the following categories: protein, starch, sauce, vegetable and dessert.
The offer includes the following items.

Follow the in-app directions to pick your offers for your holiday dinner.
Add Offers and Shop
Before you go to the store, add the cash back offers to “Your List” in the app. Always check the offer details and scan the barcode in-store to ensure the item qualifies.
Get Your Cash Back
Buy your items and submit a photo of your receipt in the app.
Participating Retailers
Redeem the Thanksgiving offers at those retailers that have partnered with Ibotta. To check availability, review the retailers in the Ibotta app. Then, add the specific offers in that retailer gallery to your account.
Other Notes
All of the products do not need to be purchased in a single transaction. You can complete the offer in multiple transactions — just submit multiple receipts.
However, if you prefer, you can also pick and choose which items for which you want a rebate. You do not have to purchase all of the items to participate.
