Come to the annual Juneteenth celebration in Marietta Square, hosted by the city of Marietta and the Cobb County branch of the NAACP. It promises to be a glorious celebration, going on all weekend long.
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration of the ending of slavery. Today, the date is a federal holiday that celebrates African-American freedom while encouraging respect for all cultures.
Marietta’s 2024 Juneteenth celebration is a FREE and family-friendly event, with food, live music and entertainment, vendors, information booths, voter registration, raffles, health screenings, and more.

Evening under the Stars: Attendees are requested to dress in all white clothing for a block party from 6 pm to 11 pm
Saturday, June 15, 2024
Cultural festival including entertainment and vendors and more from 10 am to 7 pm.
Sunday, June 16, 2024
Salute to Our Heroes – Happy Fathers Day from 2 pm to 6 pm
Everyone is invited to attend.
