Kids Area
The kids area will be open in Bessie Branham park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
You’ll need tickets for the inflatables. Each entry requires one ticket, which costs $1. The better deal may be the $20 wristband that gets you unlimited jumps/slides/turns.
Tour of Homes
The tour takes place over Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m. Get a glimpse of life in this leafy neighborhood!
Tickets are $35 for anyone 12 and older (kids younger than 12 can tag along for free).
You can buy tickets online.
Know before you go…
This is pretty much a rain-or-shine event, unless extreme weather conditions emerge. If you have any doubts, check the Kirkwood Spring Fling feeds on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram for updates on schedule changes.
No dogs are allowed at the festival, due to an Atlanta city ordinance.
You may not bring alcohol into the festival.
Getting there and parking
This is a neighborhood festival, and you won’t be able to park on residential streets nearby.
Your best bets are to walk, bike, take MARTA, or use a ride-share service.
Taking MARTA
The MARTA East Lake Station is only a mile away from the park — about a 20-minute walk.
Remember that trains run every 20 minutes on the weekends. We recommend downloading the MARTA On The Go app to your smartphone to avoid a longer wait than you’d like at the train station.
East Lake Station is on the Blue Line (east-west). There is an excellent MARTA Guide with step-by-step walking directions to the festival.
You could also get to the Spring Fling by bus. Catch the number 24 bus at the Edgewood/Candler Park station, then get off at the Kirkwood Rd / Hosea Williams Dr stop.
