Drive by these house and business floats
These homes and business are the parade this year!
In the Kirkwood and East Lake neighborhoods, you’ll find decorated front yards, porches, and storefronts.
They were inspired by the house floats in New Orleans, where they take Mardi Gras pretty seriously.
The Map of Floats goes live on Monday, February 8th. So far, there are 13 house floats and 5 business floats.
Drive by as many you want, then vote for your favorite online, on February 13th. A winner will be announced the next day.

Enjoy New Orleans Restaurant Week — takeout style!
Lanta Gras Restaurant Week takes place from Monday, Feb. 8th to Saturday, Feb. 13th.
Some of the eateries have limited availability to dine inside or on a patio, but the heart of it all is delicious takeout specials for pickup or delivery. Remember, some venues may have a limited delivery radius.
Here’s a list of participating restaurants. They are all in the Kirkwood business district, unless otherwise noted.
In some cases you may not see these Restaurant Week specials on order forms before Monday, Feb. 8th. If you don’t see them listed during restaurant week, you could always call the venue.
