From the official lighting of the great tree on the courthouse square, to visits with Santa Claus, story hours, a Winter Wonderland, and caroling — there is a lot going on.

Lighting of the Great Tree
Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024
5:30 to 8 p.m..
Gwinnett Courthouse Lawn
The tradition continues as the Great Tree is lit on the lawn of the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse on Thanksgiving evening.
Santa will light the tree and then will receive visitors in his living room inside the Courthouse — bring your camera for DIY photos!
Visitors can enjoy self-guided tours of the beautifully decorated Courthouse. Plus you’ll find kids’ activities, s’mores, live entertainment, gingerbread contest, and more!

Lawrenceville Arts Center
The lobbies of the Arts Center will be all decked out with a forest of beautifully decorated trees. Free to visit, but please consider bringing a donation of an unwrapped toy or nonperishable food item.
