St Patrick’s Day is a bust this year, due to widespread cancellations of public events. But if you’re unhappy about it, just think about all the Irish and Celtic musicians feel who have lost gigs and income.
Here’s a chance to show your support.
When life gives you lemons… make LemonAid!
LemonAid is a virtual festival, the live-streamed equivalent of Live Aid and Farm Aid.
It is taking place on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern time.
NOTE: If you visit the Facebook event page, the times given are for the Central time zone.
There is no cover charge! You just need an Internet connection.
There will be two virtual stages — one on Facebook and one on Instagram Live.
During each performance, you’ll see links and suggestions for ways that you can support the performers. This will be either a designated platform for tipping, or a website where you can purchase their music and merchandise.
