Travel back in time, with this Live Nativity and Bethlehem Village experience.
This free, family-friendly, interactive event takes place on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the corner of Peachtree St. and 4th Street in midtown Atlanta. Hours are 1 to 4 p.m.
There is free parking.
You can spend the afternoon exploring a replica of a Bethlehem village, discovering what it would have been like during the biblical era. Live actors will portray shepherds, wise men, centurions, and other relevant characters — and they’ll interact with you, as you make your own journey toward the manger, where Mary and Joseph will be watching over their baby.
In past years, you were able to pet live animals — including a cow, sheep, goats, a horse, chickens, and rabbits.
You’ll see the Bethlehem artisans create their wares, such as candles and bread — and maybe even give you a sample to take home.
And you’re welcome to enjoy free cookies, hot cider, and cocoa, while you enjoy live music by The Redeemer Brass and carol singers.
If you need an address for your GPS, use 731 Peachtree Street.
There will be some amount of free parking at the church.
