Holiday shopping is happening on the Marietta Square this December.
On Friday nights, December 13th and 20th, you can come to the square for Candlelight Shopping — an event during which the shops stay open late (5 to 9 p.m.) and you can wander through Glover Park to enjoy the lights and visit with Santa.
Then, on December 21st, you can come back for the Marietta Square Christmas Market.
The schedule for Dec. 21st:
•An extra special Artisan Market on North Park Square from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
•The Farmers Market on Mill Street from 9 a.m. to noon
The Square merchants will be offering their Christmas finery and last minute gifts, and restaurants will be abuzz with holiday cheer.
And of course, you can’t visit the Square without stopping by Glover Park for a visit with Santa and to play the Reindeer Games.
