The Midtown Mutt Gala takes place on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m. It is said to be a doggy version of the Met Gala red carpet experience — and how much fun is that!
The location is 10th Street Park — located at 1021 Peachtree Street in Atlanta.
You can come with or without a dog, and admission as a spectator is FREE. Fashionable attire for humans and canines is encouraged!
If you want to enter your pup in the costume contest, the entry fee is just $10 and you must register in advance. You cannot enter on the day of the show.
Activities include:
- A doggy red carpet experience, complete with PUParazzi
- A costume contest with a local celebrity jury
- Music from DJ Ree de la Vega
- Food for sale by Chef Drew from Cooks with Passion
- Drinks for sale
- Vendors, including Salvation Bark, K and C Pet Pastries, For the Culture Pet, and Four Legged Foodie.
Schedule of events:
2 :00 – 3:30 p.m. – Mix and mingle, visit our vendors
3 :30 – 4:00 p.m. – Line up for the costume contest (must register in advance!)
4 :00 – 4:30 p.m. – Costume contest!
4 :30 – 4:45 p.m. – Judges deliberate
4 :45 p.m. – Winner(s) announced
5 :00 p.m. – Party ends!
