As I purchased my favorite piece of art in Asheville, I’ll definitely be checking out this exhibition at Mudfire: Asheville in Atlanta 2012, featuring the works of artists based in & around Asheville including Kyle Carpenter, Julie Covington, Claudia Dunaway Richards, and Angelique Tassistro.
The opening reception is Friday, September 21, from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., and the exhibition will be on display through November 18, 2012. You can preview the exhibition online, but it’s worth browsing in person to see the subtleties in each work.
