National French Fry Day falls on Thursday, July 13th in 2023. If you love fries, this is the day to celebrate the iconic salty treat.

Burger King

Burger King is giving away FREE fries every week for the rest of 2023. 

Royal Perks members enjoy a FREE fry (with any purchase) every week through December 31, 2023.

And, on National French Fry Day, we suggest you check Burger Kings app (if you have it) for a last-minute offer.

Checkers

This year, National French Fry Day lands on a Thursday (July 13) — but Checkers believes “Fry Day” should always be celebrated on a Friday. So they’ve come up with an extended that runs from Fryday, July 14th thru Sunday, July 16th. The giveaway is only open to rewards members.

There are over 40 Checkers stores in the extended metro area.

Hardee’s

Hardee’s is offering FREE fries for the rest of the year!

To get the offer, join the Hardee’s My Rewards program and make a make a purchase thru the app on National French Fry Day, July 13th. The purchase must include fries — either within a combo meal, or a la carte.

My Rewards members who purchase fries digitally on July 13 will begin receiving a daily in-app offer for FREE small French fries with a minimum $1 purchase through December 31, 2023.

McDonald’s

Many people say McDonald’s has the best fries in the world. In fact, the chain even refers to its popular fries as “world famous.” And they’re giving away FREE fries (any size) to customers on July 13th. The offer is only available via the app. No purchase necessary.

Red Robin

Every day, Red Robin offers bottomless fries when you buy any burger or entree. Get Bottomless Steak Fries®, Kettle Chips, Sweet Potato Fries, or Garlic Fries. (The bottomless offer also includes soft drinks, teas, Freckled Lemonade® and even Root Beer Floats!)Find a location — stores in the metro area include Lawrenceville and Cumming.

Wendy’s 

From July 13 to 16, Wendy’s is serving up any size fry for FREE with any purchase for National French Fry Day. (If you’re an early bird, rather than fries, you can enjoy FREE Seasoned Potatoes with any purchase for breakfast.) The one-time-use offer is only available in the Wendy’s app. 

Other restaurants

If you don’t find your favorite fries on this list, don’t despair! Many fast-food chains offer value-size fries for around $1.

In previous years, there were National French Fry Day deals from KFC, Burger King, Steak ‘n Shake, Hardees, and more. It’s possible some of these chains will announce a deal at the last minute.
