The Battery Atlanta will celebrate the New Year in style as 2024 fades into 2025, with its annual New Year’s Eve Bash. The event is FREE to attend, and you do not need a ticket.
Braves in-game host Mark Owens will emcee the entire evening of programming, from 6 p.m. to midnight on December 31st, 2024.
Also, did you know the iconic New Year’s Eve Atlanta Peach Drop is back this year?
The evening at the Battery is actually two FREE events — an “early innings” event for families with young children, followed by the “late innings” festivities for everyone else who wants to stay up to ring in the new year at midnight.
The family-friendly early innings will start at 6 p.m. It includes music from 4-time Grammy nominee Brady Rymer on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage. There will be a countdown to a balloon drop at 8 p.m. — so the wee ones can ring in the new year without pushing bedtime too far.
The late innings festivities start at 9 p.m.
A local band will provide the entertainment from the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage. Kids are welcome to stay for the late Innings as well, as everything is family-friendly.
All entertainment in the Plaza is free for the public to enjoy. Food and drink is available for purchase at any of the restaurants, and mobile beverage carts will be in the Plaza area.
The midnight countdown will include pyrotechnics and 2024 will begin with confetti and a spectacular aerial fireworks display.

Want to go?
You can take advantage of FREE parking available in most public parking decks, beginning at 6 p.m. on NYE.
The Red, Green, Yellow, Purple, Silver, and Delta Decks, as well as Surface Lots and Lot 29 (if needed) will be free for the event on a first come, first served basis. Please note, the Orange Deck is not included.
In past years, there has been a leave-your-car policy in effect for anyone needing to leave a car at The Battery overnight, in order to get home safely. You just have to pick up your car by noon on January 1st. We’re working to verify this policy is in place again this year.
