
The city of Newnan will hold its annual 4th of July celebration again in 2026.
All events are FREE to attend.
The parade will begin at Veteran’s Memorial Park (Temple Avenue Park) at 9:00 am and head down Jackson/Lagrange St and will end right past Newnan City Hall.
The Car Show follows the parade — details below.
Parade info
On the evening of July 4, 2026, you can head to Newnan High School for a patriotic festival on the lower athletic field.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Live music starting at 7 p.m.
Fireworks at dusk.
You’ll find a line-up of family-friendly fun.
There will be food trucks and vendors on site.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and battery-operated fans.
No tents.
No pets.
No sparklers.

4th of July Car Show

The Car Show opens at 9:30 a.m., just after the 4th of July parade in downtown Newnan.
It is FREE to attend, and takes place at the Newnan-Coweta History Center.
It runs until 1 p.m.
Owners will be on hand to discuss their unique vehicles and answer questions.
Please park in the UWG-Newnan parking lot and walk the short distance to the History Center’s back lot.
Though this is a FREE event, please consider donating to benefit the History Center!
A hot dog lunch is available to purchase.
There is a $25 registration fee for drivers who would like to participate in the car show.
