On Saturday, August 4, 2018, you can join in honoring veterans from all wars at a pair of events in Alpharetta:
At 9:15 a.m., head to Roswell Street in downtown Alpharetta for a free concert with the Alpharetta City Band, followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m.
After the service, stick around for the 66th Annual Old Soldiers’ Day Parade, It steps off at Alpharetta City Hall at 10:30 a.m., marching down Roswell Street and along Old Milton Parkway before ending at the American Legion Post 201 on Wills Road.
Bonus: There’ll be post-parade treats & festivities, including free Varsity hot dogs, drinks, & activities at the American Legion Post 201.
