Patagonia, a retailer of athletic clothing and equipment, will host a Kids Clothing Swap at its Krog Street location on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Children grow out of clothing so quickly that it’s worthwhile to pass along lightly used items to another family — and pick up new-to-you items in the size you need for this school year.

You can bring up to six pieces of clothing with you on the day of the swap — or drop it off ahead of time, starting on Sunday, August 11th. You’re encouraged to bring your items during the week leading up to the swap, so the racks are full when the event opens.
The items you bring should be suitable for children from age infant to 13 years old.
For every item you bring, you’ll receive a swap ticket — which allows you to choose another item to take home with you. Please see the list of accepted items below!
You are encouraged to RSVP online if you think you will attend.
If there are unclaimed items at the end of the swap, they will be donated.
Come for family fun as well!
When you’re not swapping clothing, you can grab a FREE donut or trail mix, enjoy an arts-and-crafts activity, listen to a story, and more.
You can get free chain stitching on your new items.

- Hats and gloves
- Bathing suits
- Socks and underwear
- Eyeglasses
- Items with holes, broken zippers, etc.
- Items with significant pilling or stains
