If you’re hoping for a spot in the 2017 Peachtree Road Race, quit stalling: Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on March 22, 2017.
This year, they’re sticking with the online registration process to enter the lottery for a spot in the Peachtree Road Race, which takes place on July 4. Your odds of getting a number are good–there’s room for 60,000 participants.
If you do make it in, the entry fee is $38 + fees. You can either opt to have your race number sent by mail (for an extra fee, of course) or pick it up at the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo at the Georgia World Congress Center on July 2-3, 2017. You cannot pick up your number on the day of the race, so you’ll need to either pay the mailing fee or plan to swing by the expo.
I ran it a couple of years ago (well, walk/ran), and I’m debating putting my name in the lottery again to see if I can improve my time. I like that I can leave the decision up to chance….
