Public Website: Atlanta on the Cheap is a public website. Any information users post in its comments section or any other part of the website can and will be publically available, unless otherwise specified in these Terms. Affiliate Programs: Atlanta on the Cheap participates in several affiliate programs including, but not limited to, CJ.com (Entertainment, Restaurant.com, Groupon, PlasticJungle, etc), Living Social, Scorebig, & Goldstar, and it is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and Endless.com. Though the site earns some revenue via affiliate links, Atlanta on the Cheap retains full editorial control over the deals posted on the site. It limits the use of affiliate links to the types of deals routinely posted on the site.
Contests. From time to time, Atlanta on the Cheap will host giveaways and contests on its blog. Neither Cities on the Cheap, LLC, nor Atlanta on the Cheap is responsible for the accuracy of the details of each freebie or fulfillment. The organization providing the item remains fully responsible for providing its description and handling fulfillment. Contest entrants agree to hold Atlanta on the Cheap and Cities on the Cheap, LLC, harmless in the event that an organization does not fulfill its obligations.
Cookies. Atlanta on the Cheap, its subscription management services, and/or its advertisers may use cookies to track users’ use of Atlanta on the Cheap and improve their navigation experience. Atlanta on the Cheap Content: Atlanta on the Cheap’s writers post the details of the deals as they find them. Atlanta on the Cheap is not responsible for the accuracy of the details of each freebie, deal or discount or fulfillment. Users of Atlanta on the Cheap maintain sole responsibility for checking with vendors to verify the validity of each deal. All content on Atlanta on the Cheap is subject to the same standards as content created by Cities on the Cheap, LLC, for use on its websites, and all content is owned by Cities on the Cheap, LLC. Affiliates: Atlanta on the Cheap is owned by Cities on the Cheap, LLC, which also owns Cities on the Cheap & RVA (Richmond) on the Cheap. Cities on the Cheap, LLC does not currently have any subsidiaries, joint ventures, parent company, or similar affiliates. Should another company acquire Cities on the Cheap, LLC, and/or its assets, it will own any information collected as outlined in these terms, and it will assume all rights and obligations regarding the protection and use of that information. Atlanta on the Cheap will inform subscribers of any change of ownership through its subscription services.
Security. Cities on the Cheap, LLC, relies on industry-standard security technologies and procedures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and/or destruction. Cities on the Cheap, LLC, cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with the personal information it collects, and a breech may occur.
Jurisdiction: Cities on the Cheap, LLC, is based in Atlanta, Georgia. As such, any information collected on Atlanta on the Cheap and/or voluntarily provided by Atlanta on the Cheap’s users will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States. Should a dispute arise, Atlanta on the Cheap users and its Official Member Sites agree that any civil action or legal proceeding shall be brought in the local, state, and federal courts of record located closest to Atlanta, Georgia, or resolved under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (www.adr.org).
Terms Updates. The Atlanta on the Cheap Terms may be changed at any time and without notice. Should Atlanta on the Cheap undergo a change of ownership or make a substantial change regarding its use of personal information, Atlanta on the Cheap will notify individual subscribers using any subscription management services in place.
