Free! Bring your pets to the Blessing of the Animals at Sandy Springs Methodist

Sandy Springs Methodist will hold a Blessing of the Animals event this Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 4 to 5 p.m.

It is FREE to attend, and takes place outdoors on the front lawn of the church.

All creatures are welcome — so bring your dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, pigs, and birds.

Water and treats will be available.

Please plan for the safety of your pet!
You’ll want your dog to be leashed.
In most other cases, you’ll want your pet to be secured in a carrier or cage.
Cats in particular are skittish in strange locations and situations. You don’t want to risk losing your kitty by carrying her in your arms, or traveling with her uncontained in your car.
Use your best judgment about what is safe for your pet.
