A new community project, Smyrna Bright Nights, highlights Smyrna homes with light displays, through a fun website and interactive map.
So far in 2022, there are nearly 30 homes listed on the Smyrna Bright Nights website, along with pictures and brief descriptions from the homeowners. You can also get a printable list of just the addresses.

If you love to drive around looking at holiday lights, this is for you. It is FREE, unlike the large ticketed drive-thru light displays. It’s a relatively safe family activity. And it’s a holiday tour with no set route, so you can plan your own stops.
An important note about the displays at private homes:
These are put on by regular people, who have neighbors to consider. PLEASE be considerate when visiting these homes. Don’t block the street or private driveways, and obey all parking signs. When in doubt, just do a slow drive-by and stay in your car.
See the interactive map here — starting Dec. 6th.
The map is updated with new locations on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons.
The light displays are turned on from dark until at least 9 p.m., and some are on later.

Smyrna tree lighting celebration
There will be a public tree lighting ceremony on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. Don’t miss Santa’s arrival as he leads the parade to the Village Green to light the huge Christmas Tree.
There will also be choral performances by local groups.
Holiday selfie stations
In 2020, the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department set up holiday-themed Selfie Stations that you could visit with your family to make some memories.
Will they be back again for 2022?
We will update when we know for sure!
