Lanier Islands resort is inviting you to become snowbound!
While snow may be rare in Atlanta, it’s in plentiful supply at the Margaritaville License to Chill Snow Island attraction, just a short drive up the highway in Buford, GA.
The lakeside resort offers an excellent way for you to chase away the winter blues whites by playing in the snow.
The snow machines will be in high gear at License to Chill Snow Island through January and February in 2024. As the machines pump out the soft white snow onto the resort’s rolling hillsides, it creates the ideal surface for hours of fun spent snow tubing.
The main attraction is the 575-foot-long, eight-story-high Blizzard Mountain – one of North America’s longest snow rides!

License to Chill Snow Island details
Snow Island is a series of attractions that let you play in the snow, ice skate, ride carnival rides, and go snow-tubing down Blizzard Mountain — an 8-story high, snow-covered slope.
The attraction is open every weekend in January and February in 2024.
It’s also open on these weekdays, for school holidays:
