The Sparkle Sandy Springs celebrations returns for 2024!
It all takes place at the City Springs campus. There are multiple components to this year’s festivities, and we have them all listed below.
The festivities begin on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 4 p.m., with the parade stepping off at 6 p.m. (see details below), and the event wraps up at 8 p.m.
NEW! Sparkle Wonderland
This new, walk-thru attraction features snow machines, huge character inflatables, photo opps and concessions. Get some cocoa and snap some pics! It’s at the start of the parade route. More info
Holiday Concert
The musical entertainment is yet to be determined for 2024.
Food Trucks
From 4 to 7 p.m., food vendors will be dishing up meals along Blue Stone Road.
Sparkle Holiday Gift Market
Shop for gifts or for yourself, from 4 to 7 p.m! The vendor booths will be lined up along Blue Stone Rd, at the edge of the City Green.
Sparkle Parade
The parade steps off at 6 p.m. It starts at the corner of Mount Vernon Hwy and Lake Forest Drive. and continued down Mount Vernon to the City Green. View the route & best viewing spots
Tree Lighting & Menorah Lighting
The parade concludes with a menorah lighting ceremony at 6:40 p.m. and a tree lighting ceremony at 6:50 p.m.
NEW! Skate City Springs
The ice rink on the City Green is open from Nov. 20, 2024 to Jan. 20, 2025. Adult skate rental and admission is $18; kids (12 and under) are $15. You’ll need to reserve your time slot online.

Event Parking
You’ll find plenty of FREE parking nearby — including in the City Springs underground parking areas, and at local banks and churches. There is a parking map and list of lots online. There is a fee to park underground. Surface parking is free, but is limited to two hours.
