hope they have quite a bit of ice cream on hand for this deal….this heat is ridiculous. I just checked the 10-day forecast, and if the projections hold, every day should qualify for the deal:
Spice Market kicked off a new promo for June, July & August 2011: During The 90 Degree Freeze, you’ll get free ice cream at Spice Market when temperatures reach or exceed 90 degrees.
A few restrictions/fine-print details:
- There’s a $5 minimum purchase required to get the ice cream freebie.
- Spice Market will be using The Weather Channel to confirm the temperature. If the Weather Channel calls it 89 degrees, you’re out of luck.
- The deal expires on August 31, 2011.
Ice cream flavors change often, but may include green tea, Vietnamese coffee, banana cashew, fresh mint, and caramel. Sorbet flavors include mango, passion fruit and coconut.
And here’s another deal for you: Since there are five full weekends in July, Spice Market is offering a $5 menu. The deal is available from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the bar area on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays only through the end of the month. You’ve got a good mix to choose from (though I highly doubt you can count one of these toward your $5 minimum for ice cream…):
