Just in time for spring break, the Alliance Theatre is running a family-friendly, one-act production of The Wizard of Oz. This new version is recommended for kids from Kindergarten through 12th grade. It is just an hour and ten minutes long. Tickets for select performances are now half off.
This reimagined version of the classic fairy tale features the iconic songs from the movie, but the musical arrangement is done in the style of Bluegrass and Americana music. The story line and characters remain true to the original.
And if you’re searching for a deal, you don’t have to look further than your own backyard!
Thanks to Poshdealz, select performances between March 30th and April 7th (spring break week!) are 50% off. That brings tickets down from $32 to just $16 (plus the usual $5 ticketing fee). There are weekday and weekend performances, including some in both the morning and afternoon.
