On October 8th, Starbucks is offering its popular Happy Hour special — described in the original post below.
This means you can buy any handcrafted beverage (size Grande or larger) and get one FREE.
Remember, the BOGO deal is good from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and you must have the mobile app and a Starbucks Rewards membership to redeem it.
The digital coupon will show up automatically in your Starbucks app, usually the day before, and it’s good for one use only.
This deal does NOT include hot brewed coffee, hot brewed tea, ready-to-drink beverages, and Starbucks Reserve beverages. It is only for handcrafted beverages. The deal cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
The original Starbucks Happy Hour announcement appears below the line.
Starbucks is changing its popular happy hour promo, again. This time, for the better!
The first thing to know is that this deal is only open to members of its Starbucks Rewards loyalty program.
To participate in the Happy Hour deal, you must download the Starbucks app and become a Starbucks Rewards member. You can do that here (it’s east, fast and FREE).
When the happy hour special is available, you will find the required digital coupon on the app. (Starbucks Rewards members automatically have the offer loaded onto their account — good for one-use only.)
Previously, the happy hour special was offered on random week days for a specific beverage. The downside was that you couldn’t plan for it, and if the deal was for a drink you didn’t enjoy, you were out of luck.
However, moving forward, here are the changes…
The offer will be available on select Thursdays. (Starbucks usually gives members a few days notice.)
It’s now available for an extra hour — from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
And, best of all, the offer will be for a buy-one-get-one FREE on ANY handcrafted drink — grande or larger.

Thanks, John!
The only reason we don’t have more info and even more deals is that we lack girl-power! We’re a one-person operation here. But I’d love to start compiling lists of birthday freebies, Taco Tuesdays, etc. Now that restaurants are re-opening, maybe I can work on that.

Just want to first say, Thank You for all the effort you make to help us eat & be entertained CHEAP!!
I’ve gotta ask, why do you not mention all restaraunt specials. Ie. Buffalo Wild Wings BOGO Tuesday & Thursday deals, Kids Eat Free Days, Provino’s free Birthday meal (up to $13.95), etc.
