We happened to catch the Facebook post announcing the cancellation, but this is why we always urge you to verify each event on your own, by clicking thru the links provided to the event page.
The other monthly events are still scheduled as planned!
Red Light Cafe is hosting a FREE storytelling open mic night on the third Tuesday of each month. The event goes from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
If you want to participate, just come prepared with a 5 to 7 minute story on the current month’s theme (see the schedule below), and throw your name in the hat. When your name is pulled, you’ll take the stage.
Stories only.
No standup comedy or poetry, please.
Doors open at 7:30.
The stories start at 8 p.m.
Of course, you don’t have to tell a story if you attend.
You could come for the pure entertainment value!

Parking
Red Light Cafe has free parking. The parking lot in front of the building has multiple handicapped spots available.
Accessibility
There is a paved ramp from the parking lot to the front door.
The stage has two stairs, but the microphone can be moved to the floor in front of the stage for those with mobility needs.
Restrooms are single occupancy, gender-neutral, and wheelchair accessible.
Chairs and tables can be moved to accommodate wheelchairs.
Seating includes table-height chairs with backs and no armrests, and bar-height chairs with backs and armrests.
