On October 5 & 6, 2013, head to Auburn Avenue from Jesse Hill Jr. Dr. to Fort St. for the Sweet Auburn Heritage Festival.
From 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. on Saturday & 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, you can celebrate the history of Auburn Avenue with live music, local vendors, a food court, & more.
Performers include the The Free Byrds, Tiny Foster & The Mighty Saints, Michael Egleton, An Ka Fo Drum & Dance Ensemble, Terrell Walker & True Warrioris, & Adam Bursh, to name a few.
While you’re at the Sweet Auburn Heritage Festival, you can meet electoral candidates, too, so come prepared with questions if you want to know their views on issues that matter to you.
