Tequila, my dear old friend oh how I’ve missed the sweet sensation. My first experience with tequila was on Cinco De Mayo 2020. Went to a restaurant called Taqueria on the boulevard. Place so packed couldn’t even move. The waiter gave me and my friends 4 free shoots of tequila to start the day. From there we order a shit ton of street tacos. Go drunk that one of my friends wrestled one of the luchadores. Next thing you knew everyone screaming go go go as they battle it out. That much adore whooped his ass not going to lie. Bro got smacked with a guitar. I’m sitting here laughing and bro getting whooped. After they get separated we partied like nothing happened. Needless to say after 4 shots and two full bottles of Don Julio I’ve never drank tequila again 😂.

My first tequila experience was at a party where we drank shots after licking the salt and lemon off our wrists. Remember those days? Fun but not so fun the next day! Much more moderate now, just give me a house margarita on the rocks and a grilled chicken taco and I am mucho happy!

My favorite taco and tequila memory is with family. It’s always a good time and good laughter, now that I became a mom, I enjoy tacos and tequila with mom friends. It’s a good bonding experience if you ask me lol
Carina says
Eating tacos with my kids where everyone can put their own fillings in the tacos, as everyone wants their tacos the way they like it, are fun memories.

Who doesn’t love Taco Tueasdays? Combined with a cold Modelo or top shelf margarita, some chips & salsa and one of every type of taco, yes please! We enjoy our T-time at least once a day! Oh, and T stands for TEQUILLA baby!!
Joy Markert says
My most memorable tequila moment is not a pleasant one, unfortunately, BUT I still love tequila.

My friends and I rotate monthly Taco Tuesdays at different restaurants or our homes. One of the most memorable involved a new tequila that truly livened up the party. We poured shots, made more margaritas, and even tried a few tequila-based cocktails. With each sip, the warmth spread through us, and inhibitions loosened. Soon enough, we found ourselves dancing in the living room, laughing and having the time of our lives.

This sounds so awesome and I would love to be able to attend. I lost my Mama back in 2021 unexpectedly at the age of 51. I miss our dinner nights where we would go enjoy tacos, tequila, and all of the fixings. It was a staple to do this atleast 1/ weekly.

My tequila memory was when I was drinking casually and before I knew it, I was sloppy drunk. My guy went and looked and he said “I see why you so drunk, the majority of the bottle is gone” NO WONDER

My favorite memory of eating tacos and drinking Margaritas with them is at a little Mexican restaurant in a little town in Georgia with my Aunt years ago. The food and drink were very good and the company was even better! Thank you for allowing me to enter this giveaway, I would LOVE to win!

Tequila and I have gone way back… and we’re on much better terms now than when we first started out LOL. One taco Tuesday, it was my turn to make dinner and I had this elaborate meal planned. I was so excited about it. Young me celebrated a little too hard during the pre game though and everything went black before I could even start cooking — but when I came to, I was eating a handful of tacos and didn’t know whether or not I had made them *cringe. Turns out, a buddy of mine took the wheel and completed the task. Tequila and I have never been the same.

I absolutely LOVE tacos (I tried them first in Mexico many many years ago) so I named one of my cats Taco 😀 The funny thing is that he does like to eat a lot so it worked out perfectly.

I remember grabbing the big box o tacos at tacos bell on the way home from the hospital after my daughter was born. It was late. knew I had to be back early with snow forecast that morning to bring them home. Anything would have tasted good after 14 hours of waiting/labor.
As for tequila, hmmm. besides a couple margaritas now and then, not good memories in the past. Pain. Just pain.

My best memories with tequila are a bit fuzzy as tequila makes my clothes fall off…

My favorite memory with tequila and tacos was when me and my boyfriend traveled to Houston, Texas for the Beyoncé concert. We went to a Mexican restaurant that had the best tacos and tequila I’ve had in my life! The food was so good that I want to go back just for that restaurant. I had a strawberry margarita and some delicious birria tacos. Texas really does have some amazing Mexican food!

Tacos are my favorite meal. If I had to eat one meal did the rest of my life, I would choose tacos. Shrimp, salmon, avocado, potato, mushroom, fish, and the list goes on.

My first trip to Mexico City took my taco iq to a new level. I remember trying every street food I came across that first day and although all of them looked, smelled, and tasted incredible, I quickly learned none of those are effective ways at determining what happens 6 hours later 😳😆.

A good taco should never be passed up. On a solo trip to Mexico last year to explore Mayan ruins, I was on the hunt for the best al pastor taco. Unfortunately, I ended up incredibly sick early in the trip and was forced to eat only crackers to calm my stomach. However, the first day I was feeling better, I came across a street stand in the middle of a very small town making al pastor tacos. Even though my common sense was telling me that it was probably a poor decision so soon after being sick, I couldn’t resist the smell and there were many people crowded around, so I knew it was good. I had three and they redeemed my trip! Even if I had gotten sick, it would have been worth it! I would love to see if I can find a better one here in Atlanta.
Lea Tamarack says
I would love to attend this fest! I have tried all kinds of tacos and have found pleasure in a simple ground beef taco to a crazy spicy barria taco at Tin Lizzys. Tacos are a staple in our diet!
Nicole says
I refer to tequila as “te-kill-ya” from my days in college where shooting well tequila without lime, salt, or good decision-making was the norm. It wasn’t until later in life I realized the difference in good tequila and some tacos to go with it. 😂 Now I know it’s a great combo and I would love to win tickets to this event! Thank you for the giveaway.
