The Atlanta Botanical Garden is once again presenting Garden Lights, Holiday Nights for the 2024 holiday season.
Garden Lights, Holiday Nights runs nightly from November 12 through January 12, 2025 — and this includes Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
The lights are on from 5 to 10 p.m.
This is a timed-entry process again this year.
You’ll buy a ticket for a specific entry time and date, rain or shine.

2024 ticket prices & discounts
Ticket prices depend on which night you go.
If you scroll down, you’ll find the scoop on hours, prices, and ways to save a few bucks. Sales tax will be added to all the prices listed there.
Children under 3 get in free.
General admission tickets are the most affordable, but don’t have the weather guarantee or rain check options that are built in to upgraded tickets.
And check out the Value Nights — there are 14 of them this year. They are the very lowest priced days and are listed below.
Ticket prices are the same as last year. But in our opinion, the ticket prices are absolutely ridiculous, and this is becoming an elitist event that’s out of reach for many families.

The Value Nights discount
The prices listed below are for advance purchase, general admission. You’ll pay more for a Flex ticket or Premium ticket.

On Regular Nights, advance tickets are $39.95 for adults & $36.95 for kids ages 3-12.
On Peak Nights, online advance tickets are $49.95 for adults & $46.95 for children.

For your convenience, here’s a complete list of the 2024 Value Nights:
- November 18 to 21
- December 2 to 4
- January 6 to 9
Peak nights are Thanksgiving weekend, December weekends, and the whole calendar block from December 13th to 31st.
You can see a color-coded calendar online, with all the different price levels.

Upgrade your experience:
♣ For an extra $15 (on top of the base ticket price at any price level), you can purchase a Premium ticket that includes hologram glasses, a drink ticket, and express entry.
♣ For a flat rate of $149 per adult (and $139 per child age 3+), you can purchase a Premium+ ticket. Considering this option used to be a $10 add-on to regular price, this pricing seems excessive and ridiculous. The Premium ticket includes Flex options and no time restrictions, plus you receive a lighted bulb necklace, hologram glasses, drink ticket, and express entry.
The late night discount
Admission after 9:30 p.m. starts at just $19.95 for adults on Value Nights and Regular Nights.
Tickets are limited and this discount is not guaranteed — so get there right at 9:30.
Premium and Flex upgrades are available.
The membership discount
If you have a membership to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, you can save $5 on both general and Premium tickets, including on Value Nights.

is there any train ride to watch the lights without walking?
Helen Gregory says
So prices r higher if you go for the 5 to 11 times. I went online to see how much total for family of four on a buget would cost. Alot like $130. With added taxes and then to pay to park. Ridiculous Helen Gregory

Never been before…planning on going on Sunday night. How much for 3 adults?
Jennifer Maciejewski says
That is my understanding, David, yes–even peak nights are ~$15/ticket (+ tax & such). We have not gone yet this year, but I’ve used the same deal in the past on a peak night.
Sorry, Angela, just seeing your comment–I am not aware of a senior discount. Best deal, price-wise, will be the Night Lights. And if you buy right at 9pm, you should still have a couple of hours to experience the event. If you already headed out, hope you had a fantastic time!

Hi there, seconding Angela’s comment. If you go after 9pm on any night (including peak nights) it is $15/ticket?
Thanks!
Angela says
HI there,
Couple of questions: If we come after 9:00 PM it is 14.97 per ticket and $5.00 car parking?
Do you have senior citizens discounts.
Thank you,
Angela
P.S how much would it be for 11 people tonight? Any promotions or what would be the best deal.
