Everyone has their personal go-to store for bargains on everyday items. Target has always offered a wide variety of items at reasonable prices. But now, Target is launching a new store brand, Dealworthy, which features ultra-low prices — starting at less than $1.
The Dealworthy budget-brand will include about 400 items in categories like:
- everyday essentials
- health & beauty products
- items for your home
- electronics
- apparel and accessories
Prices: Most items are less than $10, and many are $1 or less.
This strategy effectively allows Target to compete with stores like Dollar Tree — which recently raised prices from one dollar to $1.25 because of inflation.
A press release suggests that the Dealworthy brand will allow you to save money on products like underwear and socks, laundry detergent, toothbrushes, phone charging cords, paper towels, dental floss, and more everyday items.
In electronics, some items, like phone cases, will be priced 50% lower than other brands sold at Target.
The first Dealworthy products are arriving now, in February of 2024, in stores and on Target.com.
Then, new Dealworthy products will be introduced throughout 2024 and into early 2025.
“With the introduction of our newest owned brand, dealworthy, consumers can shop hundreds of everyday basics at incredibly low prices, without sacrificing quality for the price,” said Rick Gomez, executive vice president of Target, in a press statement.
